The project
As Director of Brand Development at CoolEvents, I led the visual direction of Blacklight Run, from concept development through design execution. The website carries the energy of the event into a clear digital presentation.
- My role
- Director of Brand Development, CoolEvents; visual direction, concept development, and design execution
- Scope of work
- Visual concepts and creative direction

- Digital campaign layouts
The context
Blacklight Run’s production materials span a complete participant journey: promotional campaigns and local event information before arrival, then start and finish signage on site. The work extends the existing website presentation with original print and campaign artwork.
Design approach
Violet and lime accents tie the monogram to high-energy powder photography. Promotional layouts keep the offer legible against that activity, while flyers separate logistics into a compact information column. Large-format signs strip the system back to the mark and one decisive word.
